On Hold

Travel is complicated these days. I have been "on hold" in the Newark airport for several hours.
First, a weather delay. Then just when things were looking good, a mechanical delay. It is Friday evening and everyone is tired. Many are vying for available electrical outlets to stay connected. Nearby, a father is watching a dvd with his young daughter on his laptop. She looks relaxed. Small purple crocs removed, she's curled on the seat. Dad is tense, brow furrowed. They have just announced another two hour delay. An airplane part is enroute from JFK. Breathe. Patience.

I like to travel to lakes with my family. It is always difficult to find a hotel / motel room around the lake because I do not know what little towns have hotel / motel lodging. I discovered the attached site. It offers lake specific lodging and 24,000 + hotel / motel room options across the US.

I am sending it to you in the event you want to feature the site in the travel section as an interesting way for individuals to find lodging for US lakes with electronic reservation options. The site matches lakes to hotel / motel lodging options. www.ezlaketrip.com/mission.aspx
