Tall Tales

There are few conversations I enjoy more than sharing travel tales with fellow adventurers. And in our family we are not necessarily disappointed when things go awry. "It makes for a better story!"we always conclude.

Meanwhile, travel editor John Flinn encourages his San Francisco Chronicle readers to neatly categorize those special stories into seven tales you should be able to tell before you die. His list includes airplane stories, third world bus stories, animal stories and more. Tune in for his tales and add your own here. For ideas that will jumpstart your own list, check out our Family Adventure Travel Collection.
